Who we are

About Free Ukraine

We are a Swiss non-profit association FreeUkraine.ch. Our Association was founded in 2014, and is based in Geneva, Switzerland. We bring together members of the Ukrainian community in Switzerland, as well as people of other nationalities who want to support Ukraine.

Our mission is helping Ukraine. Since its foundation, our association has mainly focused on cultural aspects. But unprecedented aggression against the Ukrainian nation and people has drastically changed our priorities. As of the beginning of the war we have established collaboration with authorities in the Ministry of Health and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Through this collaboration we are learning about the critical needs of Ukrainian people. We are then putting our efforts in defining and developing projects that can make sustainable difference.

While we do continue some cultural projects, we focus on the ones that can help save lives.
Besides the Ministry of Health and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, we have a trusted network of volunteers in Switzerland and in Ukraine, as well as established partnerships with other non-profits, individuals and corporate donors.
